Selected text lost on Ctrl+PageDown in editor

Recommended Posts

1. Select these two lines and

copy them to the Windows clipboard,

but take care not to copy the CR/LF at the end of the second line.

In other words, you must have in the clipboard some multi-line text

NOT ending with CR/LF. For example, you can copy (some of) the tracks

from http://www.cdeb.com/cdebnew/celticmyst.html using IE 5 or Opera 7.60.

2. Open an editor (Shif+F4). Options -> Persistent Blocks must be ON.

3. Paste the lines (Ctrl+Insert). The whole text should be selected.

4. Ctrl+PageDown.

Notice the last line will be selected incompletely.

Hope this helps,

Dan Dascalescu

hi dan!

i tried using the

1. Select these two lines and

copy them to the Windows clip

text!

the result is

1. Select these two lines and
copy them to the Windows clip

with the first line completely marked (until end of screen) and the 2nd marked until the p of clip

pressing ctrl-pgdn doesn't change any of the marked text

maybe there are some other important options that affect the bug?

Uhm, this is funny: it's just my point! Note that the second line that you quoted is

copy them to the Windows clip
instead of
copy them to the Windows clipoard
:-)

Anyway, if it doesn't work, try copying the first two tracks from the album at http://www.cdeb.com/cdebnew/celticmyst.html , pasting them to NDN and pressing Ctrl+PageDown.

hi!

of course, including P was marked

i quoted only a part of the second line because you said that i should make sure to copy a line w/o CRLF

also no other results with the tracks from the html page
