Unraring NDN in Ubuntu

Does anyone have info on how to unrar the downloaded NDN .rar file in Ubuntu? Are there any downloadable versions compressed in a format other than rar? I love the DOS Navigator (run it on my work XP machine) and would like to try NDN on my Ubuntu machine at home.

thanks in advance!!!

Hi!

No, sorry, there's no other package provided.

I am not sure if there's a RAR extractor included in UBUNTU.

(i am using UBUNTU myself)

Maybe you should try to install one.

Or download from the RAR homepage (I think there's a UNIX version.)

If you want I can check it out myself tomorrow and post a little how to...

bye

There is unrar, and even RAR if you add the multiverse repository to /etc/apt/sources.list:

deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hardy main restricted multiverse

Then, run apt-get update, and aptitude install rar.
