dandv 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2005 1. In NDN's directory, copy hgroups.ini to hgroups.bak 2. Modify one of the highlight groups via NDN (Options -> File Manager -> Highlight Groups) 3. Notice hgroups.bak was deleted and two hgroups.ini files are shown Hope that helps, Dan Dascalescu
AngelsHolocaust 0 Report post Posted May 10, 2005 hi! does the 2nd ini file disappear when reloading the panel? (Alt-R?) still i cannot reproduce the INI engine uses .bak to write the files, so they are deleted by NDN Stefan / AH
dandv 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2005 Yes, the second ini file disappears. I think it would be safer to use a unique temporary file (in the %TEMP% folder, like $NDN.*) so as not to overwrite any user files. I had actually made a legitimate .bak file of hgroups.ini, and NDN wiped it out :-(
