  2. Hi everyone!

i have updated the W32 keyboard routines, and now everything should work as in ndn versions < 4000

in this archive there are 2 executables:

NDN.EXE: this treats left + right alt as one, so no special characters that are created with ALTGR should work

    NDNGR.EXE: this enables ALTGR

please, test these 2 versions for me, i want to know the following things!

    NDN.EXE:

    what hotkeys do not work?

    NDNGR.EXE:

    do all special keys work?

    what hotkeys do not work?

tell me what codepage you use!

what problems do you have with either of the 2 versions (keyboard problems!)?

    thanks for your help

    Stefan/AH

  4. Hello!

Thanks for the post in english, so i can reply to it!

i added everything to my todo list and will work on each problem when i can (the list is big ;)

the archives need a complete rework anyway, so, the problem you wrote me will be fixed (i hope soon, but theres a lot of other stuff to do as well)

    thank you again

    Stefan/A.H.

  5. hello everyone (if anyone ever reads this)

i just uploaded a new version

i hope there won't be too much problems with it

    one important thing:

at the moment i am not able to test NDN on a NT based machine (NT,XP,2k,...)

i know that there are issues, but at home i cannot install such a OS cause my PC probably wont be able to handle it

    please, read the AH_NEWS.TXT

  6. Hi everyone!

i hope someone will read this :)

it's a question i came up with yesterday, and id like to hear your opinions on it!

in all of the current dpmi versions of DN/NDN/DNOSP etc... realmode interrupts are used with the INTR_REALMODE_STRUCTURE (or similar names)

i think you know what im talking about

but, dos extenders support native realmode calls which dont modify the segment registers, so i started rewriting this code with normal assembler code

this results in a size decrease (and finding bugs btw)

the question i want to ask you is, if this also makes NDN faster! im not sure, i cannot meassure it at the moment

what do you think? any ideas?

    Stefan/A.H.

  7. Hello!

The new site looks cool, and the forum is very good too...

When i've finished exams next week (and Denis returns from hospital) the site can be updated with news and a new version will be uploaded...

maybe you can add links to the download section of version 2.14.2729?

    thanks
