dandv 0 Report post Posted March 16, 2005 This is a Windows command shell bug: if you activate "delayed environment variable expansion" (http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/set.mspx), any ! or ^ characters in batch files will be stripped (unless they do expand an environment variable) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
