Linux and Packers

Hi,

as first thing i'd like to thank all the staff for this work.

I was an enthusiast of the old DN at ms-dos times.

Now i'm using linux in some computers so, looking for a good filemanager, i found NDN.

i'm very pleased to see that are other people who like this great filemanager.

Now i have a question.

I was trying to pack an archive under linux, but i was unable to use NDN to do this.

To better explain, when i tell NDN to archive a dir (btw the hot keys shift-f1 in not functioning)

NDN answers with:

TAR: TAR: No such file or directory

so i went in config of packers and tried to set the right linux filename and path for tar.

(/bin/tar) which is right

Now, the NDN answer is:

/bin/tar: /bin/tar: cannot execute binary file

Where is the problem ?

I found some threads about linux, but any answer on this question.

Thanks in advance for the answer and a lot of thanks for keeping alive this great filemanager.
