Guest baiguai Report post Posted April 14, 2007 Does anyone have info on how to unrar the downloaded NDN .rar file in Ubuntu? Are there any downloadable versions compressed in a format other than rar? I love the DOS Navigator (run it on my work XP machine) and would like to try NDN on my Ubuntu machine at home. thanks in advance!!!
AngelsHolocaust 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2007 Hi! No, sorry, there's no other package provided. I am not sure if there's a RAR extractor included in UBUNTU. (i am using UBUNTU myself) Maybe you should try to install one. Or download from the RAR homepage (I think there's a UNIX version.) If you want I can check it out myself tomorrow and post a little how to... bye Stefan / AH
dandv 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2008 I am not sure if there's a RAR extractor included in UBUNTU. There is unrar, and even RAR if you add the multiverse repository to /etc/apt/sources.list: deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hardy main restricted multiverse Then, run apt-get update, and aptitude install rar.
